Finally the time has come for school to be out! I'm pretty excited to spend this summer with friends, family, and of course the tourists who ask you where the river is!:) Is it sad that I look forward to summer just so i won't be outnumbered by forigners when i go to my town grocery store? Well some say yes, others say no... But here goes the start of my summer fun and work and play!!!
Have a great one;)

My Life
The phrase "my life" is a reference to my gigantic purse. It is large and bulky and tends to get in my way along with being in everyone elses way. When one of my friends confronted me about this obsession I realized it was time to change before there was no return. Today, I went out and bought a new, smaller purse and it hasn't even tried to strangle me yet. Before this dramatic change everyone would come to me for everything from bandaids to hairspray to Clorox Wipes. Now that I'm looking back I don't even know why I had half the stuff in my purse anyway. I hope this change was for the better... Haha I will keep you posted:)

Anticipation Guide
I’m getting ready to read To Kill a Mockingbird in my English Class. I hope that the book holds up to all the rumors I’ve heard. In class we did an Anticipation Guide and the gist of that was: we were given ten statements to agree or disagree with. Here are some of the best statements:
1) Education occurs only inside the class room.
2) The advantages of living in a small town are greater than life in a big city.
3) Most of our values and attitudes develop during childhood.
4) All people are created equally.
5) Sometimes, it’s best to take the law into your own hands.
Feel free to comment on any of these statements. I’d love to hear what you think.
